Europe’s biggest fitness chains invariably opt for Granuflex floors. We offer an extensive range, because different floors have different requirements. For example, the cushioning in a crossfit area calls for a different floor than the stable base needed in weightlifting. Equestrian sport

Horse lovers set great store by the well-being of their animals. The risk of leg injuries must be minimised as must the likelihood of moisture under their hooves.

Available in a variety of different thicknesses and colours, Granuflex’s robust and moisture-permeable mats have been specially designed for stables, horseboxes and, of course, walkways.

A bespoke tile has been specially developed for paddocks, with maximum damping and, importantly, dowel/hole alignment. All this ensures the paddock floor remains perfectly in place, under all circumstances.

Shooting ranges

Safety requirements don’t get more stringent than they are in shooting ranges. Irrespective of whether they are used by amateurs or professionals, bullets must be absorbed with zero risk and must never ricochet. Granuflex’s specially developed shooting plates offer several advantages. They are suitable for walls and floors and they absorb noise.

The recycled, or circular rubber from which the shooting plates are made has a minimal environmental impact. And because this rubber is insusceptible to weather influences, they are suitable for both indoor and outdoor use. The shooting plates are available in different thicknesses so that a selection can be made according to the applicable bullet calibre.

Football

Artificial turf on football pitches is only usable if an infill material is applied. Granuflex’s Sportsfill Eco+ granulate is completely circular because it is derived from recycled automotive tyres.

Sportsfill Eco+ gives an artificial grass pitch optimum sport-technical properties. The ball doesn’t roll too fast, for example, and it bounces to a normal height. And, not unimportantly: sliding tackles can be made on it safely.

Drainage and stabilisation are crucial factors in synthetic turf pitches. The easy-to-install underlay of Optidrain drainage rolls improves the damping effect of the artificial grass. Moreover, it ensures that water is evenly distributed across the substrate, so that it is quickly absorbed or drained away in the desired direction.

Athletics

Athletes perform better on a stable, resilient surface. To keep loading on their joints to an absolute minimum, the correct amount of damping is crucial. Anti-slip properties speak for themselves, of course, as does effective drainage.

Athletics tracks are often laid seamlessly. A tried-and-tested method is to mix Granuflex circular SBR granulate with polyurethane, which acts as a binding agent. It creates a durable underlay on which sport really becomes a pleasure.
